1. Seller and scope
These terms apply to consumer orders from the LensesWorld online store operated by Marah Zahed, Hobackestraße 12, 45899 Gelsenkirchen, Deutschland. You can contact us by email at info@lensesworld.de.
2. Offer and contract
Product displays in the store are not binding offers. You can review your cart and correct your entries before ordering. By clicking the button clearly indicating an obligation to pay, you submit a binding offer. A contract is formed only when we expressly confirm the order by email; a purely technical acknowledgement of receipt is not acceptance.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros and include 19% VAT. Delivery charges are displayed separately before placing an order and added to the total. Only payment methods actually shown at checkout are available.
4. Delivery
We deliver via DHL to addresses in Germany and the other European Union countries. Standard delivery within Germany costs €3.99 and is free for merchandise orders of €49 or more. Delivery to the other EU countries costs €7.50 per order; the German free-delivery threshold does not apply there. The applicable delivery charge and total are shown at checkout before you place your order.
In-stock lenses without prescription power are expected to arrive within 2–3 working days from ordering when delivered in Germany. For orders containing individually tailored prescription lenses, we expect around two weeks in total from order confirmation, including preparation and DHL delivery. The relevant delivery information is shown before you submit your order.
5. Custom tailoring
Prescription lenses carry a €5 customization fee per lens. Selected values must match a valid contact lens prescription. Customers will be able to review and correct their selection before submitting an order.
6. Withdrawal and returns
Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal as described in our separate notice. Statutory exceptions apply only where their conditions are actually met, in particular for clearly personalised goods or sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been removed. For a valid withdrawal, you bear the direct return cost. Statutory rights for defects remain unaffected.
7. Defects
If goods are defective, damaged or the delivery does not match the order, we bear the necessary return cost. Statutory defect rights remain available even if a defect only becomes visible after opening. Please provide the order number, product, batch details, a description and, where possible, photos.
8. Safety
Contact lenses must only be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Remove the lenses immediately and seek professional advice if discomfort occurs.
