Before first use
- Have your eyes assessed to confirm that contact lenses are suitable and to determine the correct parameters.
- For powered lenses, use a current contact lens prescription only; spectacle values are not automatically interchangeable.
- Check the packaging, seal, expiry date and lens solution. Do not use a damaged pack.
Hygiene
- Wash hands thoroughly and dry them with a lint-free towel before touching lenses.
- Never clean lenses with tap water or saliva and never share them with another person.
- Follow the manufacturer's wearing time, replacement, cleaning and storage instructions exactly.
While wearing lenses
- Do not sleep, shower or swim in lenses unless expressly approved by the manufacturer and your eye-care professional.
- Avoid smoke, sprays, cosmetics and contact with unclean hands.
- Only drive when your vision is clear and the lenses are suitable for driving.
Warning signs
Remove lenses immediately if you experience pain, marked redness, unusual watering, light sensitivity, discharge or blurred vision. Do not reuse them and seek prompt professional eye care. A serious incident should also be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority.
